"People say that what we're all seeking is a meaning for life. I think that what we're really seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonance within our innermost being and reality, so that we can actually feel the rapture of being alive." – Joseph Campbell

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” –Mark Twain

Your Guide

Jesse Gros has been guiding outdoor adventure trips for many years, including jungle treks in Central America, sea kayaking in Baja, paddle trips on the Colorado River and mountain climbing in the U.S.

In addition, he has traveled extensively through South East Asia, India and Nepal. In 2009, Jesse returned to Nepal on an exploratory trip to scout out new routes for this year’s adventure. He recalls his first trip to Nepal:

“Trekking over 15,000ft passes in the Himalayas - along winding trails without a guide - I learned valuable lessons about trusting my instincts, operating confidently (out of my comfort zone) and tapped into a new level of courage and confidence that I had never known before.”

Jesse is just as passionate about the inner journey as he is about the outer adventure. In the early years, Jesse worked with personal growth guru Anthony Robbins. From there he went on to become a life coach, mentored by Oprah’s coach Dr. Martha Beck, where he adopted her powerful intuitive style of coaching. Recently, he earned a Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology. Drawing from many disciplines, Jesse integrates his unique style of personal growth and spiritual upliftment into all of his adventures.

“After returning home from my very first “Insight Adventure” I brought back with me more than just great memories and beautiful photos; I returned with a new and bigger way of living my life. I realized these real-life adventures had shaped me in ways that no CD, personal development book or workshop could. And… I knew I had to share it." -Jesse

What people are saying...
I learned so much about myself and what my emotional, physical, and spiritual barriers were about, and was supported to own them and go through them. The deep level of care and support I experienced from my trekmates and our trek team gave me the space to discover my Self as deeply as I did.” - Mary Scarlet PHD Professor of English Cal State Long Beach

"This trip came at a perfect time in my life. A time when over abundance was blinding me and I was falling into the trap of wanting more, feeling unhappy and unappreciative of the many blessings that surround me.” –Lupe Ornelias, RN

“I do not give out praises often but you are very talented at what you do. I see this is your passion and you are lucky to be able to engage in that passion, have a positive effect on people and make a living at it. You had a very positive effect on my life in such a short time and I am very grateful to you for that.” -Jack B. CEO The Bitton Group

"The most valuable part of the experience was the ability to visit and interact with "less travelled" areas of Nepal, as well as the focus on personal development- mine and others- which enhanced/deepened all of our interactions significantly." -Blaire

"It lived up to the expectation of being an INNER and OUTER journey. The OUTER part of the trek was strenuous at times, but manageable. The INNER part was incredible. Jesse provided a safe environment for everyone to learn and be together as a team. I would HIGHLY recommend this trip!!!” -Laina New York

"He is kind and made me feel taken care of, I know that I was fully support by the group and by the entire sherpa team and this made it easier for me to go deeper into my own experience and find new gems about my life, about the world and to deeply connect with others." -Atul Washington DC.
